Of basket woven design, the thumbpiece set with calibré-cut rubies, opening to reveal a compartment, measuring approximately 152 x 80 x 30mm, numbered, French export assay and maker's marks, British import marks and retail marks, total gross weight approximately 244.7 grams, cased.
Condition
French export mark for 18 carat gold, British import marks for 18 carat gold and date letter for 1968. Maker's mark. Numbered 7021. Light surface scratches to metal surfaces. Minor areas of discolouration. Clasp in good working order, closes securely. Rubies mid red, transparent, some inclusions visible under magnification minor scratchers and chips. Some rubies might be synthetic. Overall condition good. Measuring approximately 152 x 80 x 30mm. Gross weight approximately 244.7 grams. Accompanied by outer case and inner foam protector.
