Accompanied by GCS, report no. 78129-84, stating that the ruby is natural, with no indications of heating, moderate amount of oil in fissures, origin opinion Myanmar (Burma). Measuring approximately 13.2 x 8.6 x 5.0mm, weighing approximately 5.50 carats. Ring shank stamped to outside with French assay marks for 18 carat gold and maker's mark Ste (snowflake) E, who also worked for Van Cleef & Arpels. Collet stamped R. 5.75, OR and 750. Ruby mid red, transparent, with typical eye visible inclusions, some surface reaching, very minor fractures and chips, one cavity visible to pavilion. Diamonds bright and lively, estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00-4.50 carats. Light surface scratches to metal. In good condition.
