There is minor bumping and pulling of the canvas in the upper right corner; a faint stretcher bar mark across the figure's face and in her hat; and frame abrasion along the upper and extreme right edges. Under UV: an old varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Finely painted dashes of inpainting are visible at lower left and lower center over her bosom. There are small areas of retouching along the extreme lower center edge, on her proper right shoulder, proper right cheek, and at center right. Lines of inpainting are visible along the extreme right edge.
