Condition
This work is in original unlined condition. There are drying cracks in the oranges and a few of the leaves; small losses are visible in the upper left orange, one gold leaf at upper left, in the lower left corner, and along the right edge. A 1/4 inch diameter dent with associated paint loss is visible at upper right. There are vertical lines of abrasion that run from the two upper left oranges to the left side of the vase as well as along the lower edge. Under UV: the gold background and all of the small details painted in gold fluoresce. Minor, widely scattered dots and dashes of inpainting are visible in a few of the leaves and oranges.
