domed spirally gadrooned bases rising to square baluster stems, spool sconces and detachable nozzles, cast and chased with leaf pendants and shells on matting, engraved coats of arms, one detachable nozzle Edmé-Pierre Balzac, Paris, 1748
Condition
Three with engraved coats of arms
All fully marked on bodies, inside sconces and on detachable nozzes (some marked a second time on the body) 4 of 1752 (two date letter L, January 1752-July 1752 and two date letter M July 1752-July 1753) one 1750 (date later K, July 1750-January 1752) and one N (july 1753-July 1754); so in theory even though marked with different date letters 5 could have made in 1752 and one in 1753' Generally good and clear marks, some date letters a bit difficult to read with certitude, two with a little extra wear around tops of bases, one of these with possible, repair on same area, one with small patch in base at time of manufacture,general condition good, All detachable nozzles Charles spire, except on Edme-Pierre Balzan
