- The frame 26.7cm., 10 1/2 in. high
rectangular form with gadrooned rim and oak shell embellished curved corners, set on four acanthus and scroll feet, the central frame with lion's-mask supports, the central acanthus embellished standard with leaf-clad heart-form handle, inset with silver mounted faceted and panelled cut-glass condiments; four small sauce bottles, two covered mustard jars, and two oil/vinegar bottles, the jars crested
Provenance
The Lillian and Morrie Moss Collection, Memphis, Tennessee (catalogue pp. 86-87, pl. 28).
Condition
The stand with clear marks to underside. All but one bottles with clear marks. The one dated 1822 with rubbed maker's mark. One oil bottle with chip to upper rim with a few further small chips to base. Otherwise glass appears in good order. Condition good.
