Description
- Silver
- 39.3cm., 15½in. high
standing with wings and tail in, realistically modelled and tooled, the cover with feathered finial, the oval base with rope-twist band spreading onto stylised leaves
Condition
Pseudo marks clear to foot within grassy decoration. Clear import marks to rim of cover and main body. The base clearly part marked. Nice quality examples. the interior and cover lightly gilded. The feathers and leafy base appear to be in good order with no obvious repairs. Good condition.
