- Silver, Mother-of-Pearl
- 22.9cm., 9in. long
rectangular form, the forty-nine mother-of-pearl panels engraved with birds and butterflies within foliage and flowers, wavy-edge borders and rococo style scrolling lock-plate, on four scrolling trefoil feet, with key, later French control marks

HRH Prince Henry, the Duke of Gloucester (1900-1974) Presented to The Tewkesbury Abbey Restoration Fund in 1938
Condition
Only marked to interior rim with French control marks for 1820. The interior probably originally lined. Three of the mother-of-pearl plaques with damage, one of which has been restored/glued. Otherwise nice object in overall good condition.
