of rhomboid section, worked after an archaic gu vessel, the protruding central section surmounted by a tall flaring neck and galleried rim, all resting atop a wide base depicted in the form of waves crashing against rockwork, the exterior of the vessel further decorated with a clambering dragon with its head rested on the rim, its sinuous body extending across the vessel, further adorned with a 'flaming pearl' and ruyi cloud swirls, the stone of a pale celadon colour with icy inclusions, wood stand

Condition

The vase is in overall good condtion. There are expected bruises and shallow nicks to the edges and fragile extremities, with tiny sections possibly lightly polished.
