the compressed globular body rising from a short foot to a tall neck, set to the shoulder with a mamiform spout, brightly painted around the exterior in rich shades of cobalt-blue with flower blooms with leafy branches, the base with a four characters mark reading yong bao chang chun (forever spring)
Condition
There are two chips to the neck (approx. 1 x 0.5 cm, and 1 x 2 cm), fritting around the neck, and a hairline crack to the underside of the spout (approx. 9.5 cm). There are scratches to the surface, and minor kiln imperfections including firing lines around the sprout, iron spots and burst bubbles.
