Description
- 22.2 cm, 8 3/4 in.
the rounded sides rising from a short foot to a slightly flaring rim, the translucent stone of an attractive olive-green tone flecked with lighter inclusions
Provenance
Collection of Gustav Detring (1842-1913) and/or Constantin von Hanneken (1854-1925), and thence by descent.
Condition
This dish is in overall good condition with some minute nibbles to the extremities, slight scratches and minor nicks and wear to the surface, particularly to the interior consistent with age. The stone has some natural fissure. Slightly lighter in colour than that illustrated in the catalogue.
