- 13.6 cm, 5 1/4 in.
the slightly rounded flaring sides rising from a short tapering foot to an everted rim, painted to each side with a cusped panel enclosing two boys, all between chevron and whorl bands and divided by lotus sprays at the corners, the interior with a large shou character to the base and a leafy lotus meander at the rim,
Condition
This bowl is in general good condition with the exception of fritting to the rim and foot, and slight wear to the enamels and surface scratches. The exterior of the four edges have minor glaze chips (the largest approx. 0.6 x 0.2 cm). There are minor firing imperfections including iron spots and burst bubbles.
