Condition

Overall very good condition. The wood surfaces retain their original finish and present with scattered scratches, abrasions, edge abrasions with some small associated losses, scattered discolorations, areas of wear, and some minor age cracks consistent with age and gentle use. The proper left front post with two small losses to the wood surface located just above mid-height and each measuring approximately 1/2 inch high, not visually detractive. The upper corner of the proper right rear post with an old vertical chip measuring approximately 2 inches high. The feet with some concentrated surface soiling. The settle lacks a cushion. A monumental work with impressive visual presence when viewed in person.
