Condition
Overall very good condition. The copper displays a beautifully variegated patina with warm maroon tones. The copper surfaces present with scattered minor surfaces scratches, discolorations, some light wear, and a few very minor instances of oxidation, consistent with age and gentle handling. With some light surface soiling concentrated in the recessed contour beneath the aperture lip. The vertical seam with one very small area measuring approximately 1/4 inch located on the widest point of the body which presents like a crack is actually inherent in the production and is stable. The foot of the vase with a few small areas of more concentrated wear, not visually detractive. The interior of the vase with surface soiling, water damage and oxidation, consistent with age and use. A highly textured and elegant example.
