Condition

Overall in very good condition. The center of the coupe presents with a brighter golden hue than is visible in the printed catalogue illustration. The surfaces with minor surface scratches and a few scattered nicks, not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle use, and with some minor tarnishing concentrated to the recesses of the design. The rim with minor flecks to the surface throughout, likely inherent to the production of the work. An elegant work by Ashbee with naturalistic motifs and pleasant symmetrical composition.
