Condition
Overall in very good condition. The surfaces throughout with some minor scattered faint scratches, rubbing, and oxidation as partially visible in the catalogue illustration. The exterior surfaces of two strands of hair with some instances of rubbing to the brass plating, the largest measuring approximately ¼ x 2 ½ inches. The interior surface of a different strand of hair with two instances of rubbing to the brass plating, the larger measuring approximately ¼ x 2 ½ inches. The outer edges throughout the design exhibiting some runs to the transparent protective finish. The base sits slightly askew. A highly dynamic work exemplary of Hagenauer’s oeuvre.
