Condition
Overall very good condition. The metal surfaces with some light surface scratches, minor rubbing, and minor discolorations, consistent with age and gentle handling. The cattail tops have acquired a beautifully variegated aged patina and present with some oxidation to the lower portion of the cattails, visible in the catalogue illustration. The lower portion of one rod is very gently bent. The base plate with oxidation throughout covering approximately two-thirds of the plate, visible in the catalogue illustration and consistent with age. The base with some light surface soiling and scattered minor instances of pitting. An elegantly proportioned sculpture that can be displayed indoors or outdoors.
