Condition
Overall in very good condition. The wood surfaces light minor scratches, some instances of rubbing and wear , and some minor scattered nicks and marks, the latter mainly concentrated to the edges, all not visually distracting and consistent with age and gentle use. The reverse proper left corner of the top seat rail with a shallow loss to the wood measuring approximately 5/8 x 3 ½ in., stable. The front underside of the armrest with some burling to the wood that partially extends to the forward facing side of the armrest as visible in the catalogue illustration, inherent to the material and design. A cozy and very well-constructed piece by George Nakashima.
