Catalogue Note

The inscriptions read: "Donated by Abraham ben Samuel and his wife Tserla bat Joshua" in Hebrew and "Gift of A. de Wijze and his wife S. de Wijze-Lion" in Dutch. Abraham de Wijze (1883-1943) married Sara Lion (1875-1944) on September 3, 1907. They both perished in the Holocaust.
