Condition

The illustration of the catalogue is accurate. There are the inevitable dents, marks and scratches due to age and use. There are old restorations to the veneer and to the tinted horn. There are losses and lifting to the marquetry. Many brass elements are lifting and need to be refixed. There are losses to some ebonised moldings. The gilding is  rubbed and tarnished. Some handles are loose. One semi-precious stone is missing, there are chips and cracks to some other stones. Very decorative cabinet which would benefit from a restoration.
