The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The date function is working properly. The bezel with very tiny pinhead dings at 4, 13 and 23 o'clock. The band with minor surface wear visible to the naked eye. The upper right lug with more apparent surface wear. The case back with minor surface wear around inside of the milling. Inside case back is stamped "16710". The bracelet with minor surface wear throughout, however lies nice and flat. The end links is stamped "402B, 50" and folding clasp is stamped "62523,H,18". This reference 16713 was in production from approximately 1989 to 2006 with different variations of the dial and bezels produced. This GMT was the first to house a two-tone stainless steel and yellow gold case. However, the real reason why collectors truly favour this watch is for its colour of the bezel combined with the colour of the case and its dial. The bezel is given the nickname “Root Beer” because it utilizes a brown and cream colour for the inserts, which has a resemblance to the popular soda pop. The current watch is further enhanced with a dial set with baguette-cut ruby and diamond-set numerals. Furthermore, the watch is in very original condition with full proportions and bevels still present with the case.
