Condition
CASE
Case with some light previous signs of polish, but remains with robust lugs. Some light surface wear and scuffs. Very small nicks throughout. case back with some heavier signs of material corrosion. Bead to bezel missing.
Bezel with some light wear and nicks.
DIAL
Dial is heavily aged. Lacquer to the dial with heavy cracking. Even oxidation and deepening of color to the lumes and hands.
MOVEMENT
Movement is operating but may require service at the purchaser's discretion.
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.

Reference 6536 was first released in 1955 and was produced for a very limited amount of time. This reference features a small crown, and silvered triangle to the bezel.
