• cal. 727 manual winding movement, 17 jewels • black dial, applied faceted baton indexes with luminescent dots, Obélisque hands, steel chronograph hand, silver engine turned subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minute, and 12 hour registers, outer minute divisions • stainless steel Oyster case, black acrylic bezel calibrated for 200 units, screw down crown, pushers, and solid case back • case, dial, and movement signed • with a stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet and folding clasp
Condition
CASE
Numbers between the lugs clearly delineated. Case overall in very good condition with attractive brushed lugs. Very light wear, scuffs, and small nicks under close observation. Case back with with light wear and scuffs. Small nicks on the perimeter of the bezel, especially between 8 and 9. The watch is with a service bezel.
DIAL
Dial in good condition with some attractive aging to the subsidiary dials. Sub dials with some very light surface scratches and wear in the engine turning. Hands, especially the chronograph hand with some spots of oxidation. Lume dots at 2 and 9 with loss. Dial is even overall.
MOVEMENT
Chronograph function working properly.
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
