• cal. 32062 automatic lever movement, 33 jewels • white enamel dial, applied baton indexes, subsidiary dials for day, date and month in German and moon phases, aperture for 2 digit year display, outer minute track • 18k yellow gold rectangular case, stepped case band, back secured by 6 screws • case, dial and movement signed • with an 18k yellow gold IWC folding clasp
Condition
CASE
Case in overall good condition with wear, scuffing, and small nicks consistent with regular use. Left side case band with two light undulated areas at the center. Also with scuffing overall. Bezel between the top lugs with scuffing, and a deeper indentation between 11 and 12. Case overall with scuffing, very superficial scratches, and light oxidation. Case back with some more oxidation and inscribed by the maker "Novecento No 039." Screws do not appear yellow gold and some with material wear.
DIAL
Dial in very good condition with some very light signs of coloring to the year aperture.
MOVEMENT
Perpetual calendar function working properly.
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
