CASE: Case in overall fair condition with wears, scuffing, and surface scratches consistent with regular use. Bezel with wear and scuffing through out. Some Heavier scuffs at 6 9 and 12. Right side case band with a curved surface scratch and markings throughout. Left side case band with equivalent wear. Lower right lug with a small indentation to the outer face. Some superficial marks throughout. Folding clasp with wear, scuffing, and some debris which may benefit from light cleaning. DIAL: Dial in overall excellent condition. MOVEMENT: Movement in excellent condition. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Consisting of 415 single parts, A. Lange & Söhne's patented caliber L043.1 movement is impressive for two crucial functions: a jumping hour mechanism and a constant-force escapement. The jumping hour mechanism is made of three discs, one for the hour and two for the minutes, allowing the time to change instantaneously per minute. A constant-force escapement drives the balance with uniform power, enhancing performance and stability. Lange's straightforward and highly legible display is an inspired alternative to the traditional indication of time with rotating hands.
