CASE Case in overall good condition with light wear and scuffing from occasional use. Bezel with some light scuffs at 12. Some scuffs from 1 to 3.Top lugs also with some very minimal wear. Some light of debris which may benefit from cleaning. Debris within the screws to the case back which may benefit from cleaning. Buckle with some scuffs. DIAL Dial in excellent condition. Some very light debris. A very small surface mark between 10 and 11 under very close observation. MOVEMENT The watch is not consistently chiming in phase and will require service at the purchaser's discretion. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Accompanied by an F.P. Journe Certificate of Authenticity card. Together with one booklet, one polishing cloth, and a presentation box with outer packaging.  F.P. Journe's Répétition Souveraine renders one of the most highly complicated mechanisms almost utilitarian by its expert design and use of materials. Second only to the grand sonnerie, the minute repeater is one of the most sophisticated and desirable horological complications.
F.P. Journe has created a minute repeating wristwatch typical of the brand's ultra slim and elegant shape by fitting the mechanism with their signature flat hammers and gongs. In fact, when the firm introduced this timepiece in 2008, it was the thinnest minute repeating wristwatch on the market, measuring only 8.65 mm fully cased. 
Unlike other timepieces in F.P. Journe's arsenal which are made of platinum or rose gold, the repeaters in the Répétition Souveraine are exclusively made in stainless steel, a lower density material that transmits sound better. It is a shocking statement to house such a complex mechanism in such a humble material, but the effect is exceptional: a thin and lightweight timepiece that chimes crisply and elegantly on the wrist.
