Catalogue Note
Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirm the year of manufacture in 1996 and sale on November 14, 1996. Together with an additional 18k pink gold solid case back, one setting pin, one service tag with sticker, and a winding presentation box. Reference 5039 was a visually striking variation on the 3940, adding a highly distinct clous de Paris, or hobnail bezel. To the best of our knowledge only about 500 pieces were manufactured from 1996 to 2006.
