Condition
CASE
Case with wear and small nicks consistent with age and use. Small circular dent to the case band between 10 and 11. Larger dent to the case band at 9. Some scratches and small dot indentations to the band at 6. Wear throughout. Wear and fading to the hallmark at the stem. Please note that the Extract from the Archives confirms that the original case was replaced with a Tiffany case bearing no. 174550.
DIAL
Dial with wear and small surface marks throughout. a deeper colored marking to the left of the center arbor. Some heavier scratch marks throughout. Some oxidation to the hands.
MOVEMENT
Five minute repeater is not repeating in phase. It appears one hour ahead and will require service at the purchaser's discretion. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
