Condition

CASE Case in excellent condition very light wear and scuffs. Left side case band with some wear to the center. Buckle with some light wear. Calatrava buckle inscribed "Patek Philippe 1839-2014." Case back inscribed "Patek Philippe Geneve 175th Anniversaire 1839-2014." DIAL Dial in excellent condition. MOVEMENT World time and moon phases functions working properly. The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.

Catalogue Note

Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Certificate of Origin dated September 11, 2015. Together with an Attestation confirming a limited series of only 1300 pieces in 18k white gold, one commemorative medal, one setting pin, one sales tag, booklets, one bi fold, and a presentation box with outer packaging.  Patek Philippe unveiled four limited timepieces for its 175th anniversary in 2014. Made in both men's and ladies' (Ref. 5575G for men, and Ref. 7175R for ladies), the World Time Moon encompasses several major milestones for the renowned firm. 

Its finely sculpted case and flowing lyre lugs are beautifully rendered and a great departure from the firm's other world time cases, Ref. 5130 and 5131. The World Time Moon is an exceptional example of Patek Philippe's commitment to innovation and quality.
