Catalogue Note

A popular wristwatch and jewelry trend of the 1970s was the iconic "snake" design - a coiled wrap bracelet with a concealed watch inside of the mouth.  The present example is an interesting combination, housing a Longines movement signed with the retailer Gucci. The translucent enamel work is striking and vibrant.  The watch is accented with ruby-set eyes, which complement the blue and green enamel work on the scales of the snake.  This example remains in very nice overall condition, and presents a unique opportunity to purchase an exquisite, and very exclusive jewelry watch.
