Condition

In overall good condition. Usual minor dents and scratches. The foot rim slightly bent. Marks legible on foot rim. Gilt inside. Nice chasing with oak foliage.

The arms are those of Huen, of Estonia, for Baron Hermann Theodor von Hoyningen-Huene (24 October 1813, Arrohof, 10 October 1880, Nawwast). His grand-son, George, baron Hoyningen-Huene (4 September 1900, Saint-Petersburg, 12 September 1968, Los Angeles), was a reknowned fashion photograph.
