This work is in good condition overall. The canvas is unlined and loosely stretched. The colors are vibrant. Under raking light inspection, isolated fine lines of craquelure become apparent in the upper left quadrant of the work, the most noticeable of which extends 24 inches along the extreme upper edge of the canvas. Additional isolated areas of fine spiderweb craquelure become apparent in the upper central quadrant. However, the media layer is stable overall. Under ultraviolet light inspection, dark fluorescence occurs throughout due to the media utilized by the artist. Four spot accretions become apparent.
