Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is an uneven varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, however examination under UV light reveals no signs of retouching. There are artist's pinholes to each corner with some minor associated pigment loss, and there is some pigment shrinkage visible in places across the composition. There is a lovely thick impasto and this work is in overall very good condition.
