Condition
The canvas is lined and inspection under UV light reveals scattered areas of retouching, predominantly to the sky, which have been applied to infill lines of craquelure. There is some abrasion to the edges caused by the frame with minor associated paint losses. The craquelure is stable and there is some paint shrinkage to the roof of the house in the foreground of the composition. This work is in overall fair condition.
