vigorously painted in cobalt blue, the center medallion depicting a writhing dragon amidst a dense leafing lotus meander, encircled by eight foliate motifs in the cavetto, the exterior with two further dragons, the base centered with an apocryphal Chenghua mark

Condition
With fritting and multiple flake chips along the edge. With two hairline cracks extending down from the rim, the longer measuring 7 cm. With surface scratches, acretions, and firing imperfections throughout.
