Condition

The sheet is secured to the mount with two tabs of adhesive tape at the upper corners and the sheet is folded around the back of the mount at the left and right edges, slightly obscuring the title at the lower right. The sheet is very slightly unevenly cut along the lower edge. The sheet undulates slightly in places, most visible towards the upper third. There is one very minor nick to the sheet where it has been folded towards the right edge in the centre. There are Artist's pinholes to the upper left and upper right corners, one in the centre of the upper edge and a further pinhole towards the lower left corner, none of which are visible in the present mount. There is some time staining to the sheet, consistent with the window of the mount. There are some handling marks to the edges of the sheet, and some surface dirt throughout. There is some fading to the ink and wash in places. Subject to the above the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The work is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple, painted wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
