Condition
The sheet has been fully laid down to the mount. There are artist's pinholes in all four corners. There is the remnants of some glue visible at all four edges, this has in some places attached itself to a previous mount leaving traces of paper in several places around the edges. In the upper left, upper right and lower right corners there is the remnants of some previous adhesive tape which had held the work in an old mount. The sheet has been unevenly cut along the right edge. There is a small tear in the lower right corner. There is significant discolouration to the sheet caused by exposure to the light visible when the work is viewed out of the mount. The sheet is window mounted and held behind glass in a simple wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0)207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present lot.
