Condition
The board appears sound. There is very minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges of the work, with one or two associated flecks of loss including to the upper left corner and the centre of the upper edge. There are scratches, scuffs, very fine cracks and incisions throughout, in keeping with the Artist's working process. There are one or two possible spots of staining towards the lower left corner and one or two instances of studio detritus. Subject to the above, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals no obvious signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is floated and held in a painted wooden frame. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present work.
