The ring designed as a turtle, the shell composed of coral, within a frame of brilliant-cut diamonds, the eyes embellished with circular-cut emeralds, size 43, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, French assay mark for gold, the bracelet composed of rectangular lapis lazuli plaques, accented with brilliant-cut diamonds, alternating with cabochon coral, length approximately 170mm, signed Van Cleef & Arpels, numbered, French assay mark for gold and maker's mark.

The ring signed V.C.A, inscribed 70.1 and BB 25.12.1971. Bracelet signed VCA, numbered B2053L3, French maker's mark, stamped 750 for 18 carat gold. Coral in the bracelet well matched in colour, the coral in the ring of slightly paler colour, minor abrasions. Lapis Lazuli with minor surface scratching, some with typical pyrite inclusions. Diamonds bright and lively. Scratches to the metal consistent with age and wear, some minor signs of tarnish. In good condition. Total gross weight approximately 32 grams.
