Condition

The board bows slightly but appears sound. The surface is incised, rubbed, scraped and scratched, in keeping with the Artist's working methods. There is a very small loss towards the lower edge to the right of centre. There are one or two accretions in the paint. This excepting, the work appears to be in very good overall condition. Inspection under ultra violet light reveals no clear signs of fluorescence or retouching. The work is held within a painted slip and a carved wooden frame.
