Overall the condition of the bronze is very good,with some dirt and wear to the surface consistent with age. There appears to be a minor loss to the tip of the arrow and the bow is slightly bent. There are minor nicks to the surface throughout, in particular to Cupid's proper left leg. There is wear to the patina consistent with age. The bronze base is cast in sections and a joint is visible. The base is filled with gesso.
