- 45.3 x 58.4 cm.; 17 7/8 x 23 in.
Condition
The panel is cradled, flat and stable. The paint surface is slightly dirty and the varnish only slightly discoloured. The vertical wood grain has become somewhat apparent in slightly thinner areas of the painting, particularly in the centre, but the surface is otherwise well-preserved. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals very few retouchings, which are based largely in the sky, upper right and in the brown horse in the background to the left of the white horse. In overall good condition.
