Condition
The panel is uncradled, made up of a single plank, is flat and stable, and is bevelled on the left, upper and right edges. The paint surface is clean and the varnish is clear. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals small spots of retouching scattered in the sky, along the lower edge, and in the foreground lower centre, but the work otherwise appears to be in very good condition. Offered in a carved wooden frame with a gilt inner trimming in very good condition.
