Condition

The panels are both uncradled, made up of a single plank, and are flat and stable. The paint surfaces are relatively clean and the varnishes clear and even. There is some evidence of wear in both panels but the colours remain vibrant. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals few pin-prick retouchings in both panels and restoration to a small loss in the vase of the latter. There also appears to be retouching in the dark backgrounds of both. Offered in plain, lacquered Dutch style frames with wave decoration.
