Provenance
With Segundo Antigüedades, Seville, from whom acquired by the present owner.
Condition
The canvas has a firm relining, the paint surface is slightly dirty and the varnish is slightly discoloured. The weave of the canvas has become visible particularly in the darker areas of the painting. There are scattered pin-prick losses visible scattered throughout. Inspection under ultraviolet light is impeded by the thick, milky varnish but there are retouchings visible along all four margins and scattered throughout. In overall fair condition. Offered in a carved and gilt wood frame with minor losses.
