Condition
The canvas is lined, the paint surface is clean and the varnish is discoloured. No damages are visible to the naked eye. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals few retouchings in the figures' proper left armpit, his hair, and scattered along the left edge, but the work appears in otherwise very good condition.
