The panels are both cradled, flat and stable. The paint surfaces are clean and the varnishes are clear and even. The craquelure is slightly pronounced in the lower right corner of the former and in two small areas of the peel of the most central lemon in the latter. There is a small spot of paint loss in the former along the left side of the lower edge. Retouchings are visible in the background of both. Inspection under ultraviolet light reveals a thick varnish and some retouchings in both, most notable the lower right corner of the former, as well as to a horizontal line along the left side of the lower edge and small spots scattered in the table and grapes. In the latter retouchings are visible along the upper and lower margins. In overall very good condition.
