Although this photograph has not be been examined out of its frame, it appears to be in generally excellent condition. As is a typical of the photographer's working process, the following are visible: some handling creases and a few chips to the emulsion at the edges. There are a few deposits of retouching, one near the center cheetah's head and one near the lower right edge, that appear to have shifted to a rust color. When examined in raking light, there is shallow cracking to the emulsion overall.
