Condition

Overall measurements: 125cm across the top, 133cm across the bottom, 196cm the left hand side, 202cm the right hand side. Pile variable from 4mm at highest (in reds and blues in borders), down to the knotbars. Rug has had some repairs and conservation, especially in lower half of the bottom medallion. Outermost brown and whole of guard stripes have been repiled. Scattered area of whites are repiled. Upper half of field and area of the top tip of the upper medallion is repiled with irregularly shaped area of (15 by 20cm - to extremities). Scattered small areas of repiling, all very well executed, and they can be felt on the reverse, where the repairs stand a little proud, and on the face they are difficult to see. This is a pretty rug, with attractive colour combination. Colours in reality are more vibrant and not as flat looking as in the catalgoue photograph. Not expensive and ready to use.
