the deity carved standing and holding a ruyi scepter in one hand and a lotus bud in the other, attired in long robes draped with trailing sashes, with a goose standing along side, the stone of an even color

Condition

In overall good condition with even tone, some natural fissures to the stone and opaque skin to the reverse, in the figure's skirt. A few minor losses to petals ornamenting coiffure, and possibly to the base behind the egret. With dirt acretions scattered, including near the lingzhi. Please note that this lot includes a stand, frame or other component made from a type of Chinese hardwood, which, if exported, will require a CITES permit to leave the United States.
